The central Indiana office, which is the “home” office, is located in  Linden, IN.   A second office is located in Eckerty, IN. Dave Patterson is the primary broker and founder of the agency.  His son, Chris Patterson has worked as a member contract buyer for the agency since 2007.  Both are INDOT approved and Level Five Kentucky Highway Cabinet buyers.

The agency members have over 40 years of real estate experience.  Dave began selling residential, agricultural and commercial properties in the 1970’s and transitioned to right-of-way buying in the 1990’s.  Chris received his real estate license after serving in the U.S. Army.  Dave served in the U.S. Army National Guard.

The Patterson Agency LLC works primarily in highway right of way acquisition in the States of Indiana and Kentucky.  Involved in the agency’s experience are acquisitions for the states mentioned, Floyd, Vanderburgh and Tippecanoe Counties, as well as the Cities of New Albany and Jeffersonville. 

Vectren Energy Distribution, (gas and electric easements), BLN Engineering, HNTB Corporation, United Consulting, Butler, Fairman and Seufert Engineering, Jacobi, Toombs & Lanz Engineering, QK-4 Engineering, HWC Engineering, Wessler Engineering, Clark Dietz Engineering are some of the firms that we have partnered with on various projects.

The agency has contracted an assistant who is responsible for preparing the documents involved in parcel acquisition.  This move will enable the agency buyers to spend their time with landowners and therefore increase the total production.  With two qualified, experienced buyers and an assistant, the agency will be able to handle from 50 to 60 parcels at one time.
